| According to the regulations of
"The Bagrationi's House", it has a lot of goals and tasks. They could be
divided into three parts: Everyday tasks, Scientific and Economic.
The later comprises raising funds in order to carry out the tasks of the two previous parts. Under everyday problems, we mean to help disabled, to sponsor gifted children, to organize scientific expeditions and to finance several other events, to give grants, assistance etc. Scientific department will mainly work at genealogical and heraldic research, restoration of historic monuments. The society was called "the House" on purpose, as we would like it to become a real home where people of same origin will meet, restore their relationships, especially those who live outside Georgia. Thus, there are a lot of different goals and tasks and we are hopeful about carrying them out. The society writes real as well as supportive members. The real members are three generation of the bagrationis family descendents, supportive members-include the relatives of the royal family, distant heirs and also professionals who work in this field. The Society has a Chairman, three deputies and a committee of eleven people, consisting of the professional members of the society |
