Structure and Management
     The National Conference is the main policy-making body of the Girl Scouts of Georgia. The conference is held annuanly do discuss and analyse reports on the activities of the organizations and determine issue the policy, stategy and programs for the coming year. The National Council members are elected for terms of threes years according to the Constitution. At present the National Council shares responsibilities with the Executive Committee. (Monthly meetings of the Council are required by the current situation of regional development and management of the TACIS project).  
     The present makeup of the National Council is as follows:

        Chief Commissioner   
        International Commissioner   
        Financial Commissioner   
        PR Commissioner   
        Training Commissioner   
        Camp Commissioner   
        Development Commissioner   
        Regional Commissioner  
        Executive Secretary 
   Due to the administrative-territorial arrangement of Georgia (2autonomous republics, one autonomous district and 9 regional administrations) the Assocition, which initially operated with Tbilisi and Abkhazia Regional Organizations, identified 5 more to be developed and this is well underway funded through the TACIS Project. Regularly Developent Commissioner is Guiding nethods and involve girls in the Movement. 

     The Association rents an office and employ one member of staff. Other management tasks are carried out by volunteer leaders. The office is the administrative center of "DIA" and is equipment with fax, computr (including E-mail) and photocopier. 

    The Association as yet has no formal policy on involving young women in the decision-making process, but there are young women members at every level.
