We
try to pursue these aims through an extension service for farmers, public work
and lobbying and also through specially created service for village development program.
Besides “ELKANA” was an initiator of agrobiodiversity protection and
sustainable use in Georgia and helped with credits those farmers who decided to
follow organic farming principles. “ELKANA” has developed organic
agricultural standards for Georgia and now we plan to organize independent
certification and marketing services for organic products.
