ELKANA has established marketing department in order to investigate
marketing possibilities of Georgia organic production and help member farmers to
sell own produce.
On
November 13-14, 1999, the Biological Farming Association "ELKANA" held
the first organic fair of products produced by its member farmers. The aim of
the event was to present organic production, produced in Georgia, to support
organic farming and to reveal the potential consumers of such production. A
two-day organic fais have been organized for the Christmas as well.
