In March 2002 the GENESIS Association has received a donation from the LIONS Clubs of Basel and Spiez (Switzerland) one Ambulance Pinzgauer 6 x 6 and two Pinzgauer 4 x 4 for its use within the framework of the Genesis Association activities.

The Ambulance was brought to allocate after Primary Healthcare Center of the GENESIS Association in Ortabatumi, Western Georgia, where avalanches often create problems for the population and transportation of the injured patients is a great problem do to the absence of roads in high mountains.

Other Pinzgauers were donated for the purpose to enable the GENESIS Association to reach remote villages in high mountains with a group of consultant doctors and serve the targeted shelters and orphanages when necessary.

Also the GENESIS Association receive as a humanitarian donation from the LIONS Clubs of Basel and Spiez (Switzerland) 71 boxes of winter clothes, 71 boxes of bed linen, blankets, toys, kitchen utensils and shoes for the
Bodbe and Akhalgori Orphanages.

Mr. Peter Bieder, LIONS Club Member of Lions Club Spiez; Mr. Jörg HansSchwarzenbach, LIONS Club Member of Lions Club Basel; Mr.Alfred Wyss, LIONS Club Member of Lions Club Basel; Mr. Dr. Matthys Dolder, LIONS Club Member of Lions Club Basel; Mr. Klaus Schilling, LIONS Club Member of Lions Club Spiez; Mr. Fritz Lehner; Mr. Reto von Bidder; Mrs. Annemarie von Bidder arrived in Tbilisi and with the GENESIS Association distributed all those humanitarian goods to children in the Akhalgori Orphanage, Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region and the Bodbe Orphanage, Signagi Region.
