Staff – 9 employees

The principal governing bodies of the GFPAA are:

  1. General Meeting of the Federation Members;
  2. Board of the Federation;
  3. Revision Commission of the Federation; and
  4. Consulting Council.

The General Meeting is held once a year as a minimum or can be convened at the demand of the 1/10 of the members of the Federation who submit it in the written form with the proposed agenda of the meeting.

The top governing body of the Federation is the General Meeting of the Federation Members, which is authorized to:

        1. eview and approve the Charter of the Federation, and make amendments and additions to it,
        2. select a Chairman of the Federation, elect the Board of the Federation (7 members) and appoint the Revision Commission,
        3. hold hearings and approve the reports of the Chairman of the Federation and those of the Revision Commission,
        4. approve establishment of or abolish the local offices of the Federation at the request of the Board of the Federation,
        5. decide the issues concerning the reorganization and liquidation of the Federation.

The members of the Board of the Federation work on a voluntary basis and only the Chairman and the deputy chairmen have salaries

The Board of the Federation is authorized to:

Govern the activities of Federation between the periods of the general meetings
Convene the General Meeting of the Federation and until the convention of it work on the issues, that should be included in the agenda of the General Meeting
Establish branches of the Federation and approve their by-laws and coordinate their activities
Approve the by-laws of the Revision Commission
Be in charge of the property of the Federation and approve the Budget of the Federation and cost accounting
Take a decision on establishment of subsidiary enterprises and organizations and approving their Charter and by-laws
Determine the membership dues
Discuss the claims concerning the exclusion from the membership
At the nomination/recommendation of the Membership Committee, make decisions concerning the admission of members and their exclusion
Elect the Deputy Chairmen
Discuss other issues envisaged by the Charter except the issues that are to be decided by the General Meeting

The Revision Commission controls the activities of the Federation.

Revision Commission acts according to the Charter of the Federation and is obliged to:

Revise the activities (including financial issues) of the Federation
Prepare the results of revision and present it to the meetings of the Board and the General Meeting of the Federation Members
Checking on in order to ensure the adherence to the Charter and other normative acts of the Federation by the administrative bodies of the Federation

Consulting Council is consulting body and assists the Federation to efficiently carry out its activities through providing consultations. The members of the Council can be representatives from the field of Accounting, Auditing, Securities, Economics or business and may not be the Federation members and has no employee/labor relationship with the Federation.
